I spent 35,000 referral points to get it, and you can’t actually buy it with cash. A simple design, it only comes in matte black with ‘Franz’ signature laser engraved on the hammer. Fun fact: Franz’s Cybertruck is wrapped in matte black.
Why did Tesla make this?
Tesla is known for making out-of-the-box, fun items in limited runs like the burnt hair, flame thrower, Cyber Steins, Cyber Beer, etc. They are all inspired by something Elon Musk or Tesla related. The CyberHammer was inspired by Franz hitting the Cybertruck with a sledgehammer in 2019 when the distinctive truck was first revealed, and it didn’t make a dent. The metal ball he threw after, however, did shatter the glass. That’s why his name is on it in autograph fashion.
