There are so many of the same five Tesla colors on the road. So, how can you be different? With color vinyl wraps or tinted PPF wraps. You can change your Tesla’s color entirely, OR install some of these DIY pre-cut kits. Either way, you’ll stand out from the fleet. You don’t have to go to a professional to get these done like you would with a full wrap, it’s cheaper, and takes a lot less time. 1. Chrome Delete
If you have a pre-2021 Model 3, X or S, you have chrome trims. Not sure about you, but we’re not a fan of chrome. We’d rather delete that for a sleek and stealthy look. Our Chrome Delete kits are pre-cut and anyone can do it with enough time and patience. One thing to note is that vinyl is pretty forgiving. If you heat it, wrinkles come out. If you mess up an area, just peel it off and stick it back on there. If you really mess up, all of our vinyl kits comes with two sets! We have 3-5 colors to choose from depending on your Model, and these will transform your Tesla’s appearance overnight.
2. Pillar Delete
Say you’ve already deleted your trims, and you want to take it to the next level. This is for you. We call this the stormtrooper look or the dome look – whichever you prefer. It’s a subtle way to make your Tesla different. We have this for the Model 3 and Y in satin, gloss, and matte black.
3. Front Bumper kits
The ultimate way to be unique is to spice up that plain front bumper. These wraps add depth to the natural curves of your bumper and make it a little more sporty. We have a few variations to choose from for the Model 3 and Y, and I’m not going to lie and say they are easy, but if you take the time to understand the vinyl and how it stretches, you’ll get it in no time.
4. Tinted Headlights + Taillights
These are PPF wraps, not vinyl like the products above, so the install is different. The main function of PPF is to protect, but the tinted PPF also makes for a great look. It’s a win win with the ultimate protection and customization. They come pre-cut and ready to install out of the box. While you can buy the clear PPF kit, these just add that moody, blackout look to your Model 3, Y or S. And don’t worry, it really doesn’t affect your light output much since they are made from the lightest tint you can get from STEK.
