With so many Tesla Model 3s roaming around, there’s an easy and affordable way to get a handle in standing out: wrapping your door handles (see what I did there?).

Changing the color of your door handle is a simple and inexpensive process. It’s a simple wrap kit that you can purchase for $35 and it only takes a few minutes to install each handle.

Aside from the aesthetic benefit of wrapping your door handle, here are 3 other benefits!

1. Protection

“Chrome is often chosen for decorating because it is brighter and shinier than stainless steel. However, because of the polished surface, it can also scratch easily and show fingerprints and dirt easily.” – Soho Concepts (source)

Because the door handle is an area of the car that is contacted daily and most frequently, wrapping it can decrease scratches it could incur over time.

2. Lessen Heat Retention

In states like Arizona, summer temperatures can get as hot as 115 degrees Fahrenheit. During this time, businesses with metal door handles cover their handles up with towels so that customers don’t burn their hands.

*Door handle wraps can lessen the amount of heat the handle retains. If you live in an area that experiences hot summers, this may prevent you from an unpleasant burn from just trying to open your car.

3. Intro to Customizations

The Model 3 is an amazing vehicle with a unique experience. Many prefer to keep it as is and relish its beauty. However, if you’re like us – we love adding a little bit of personalization to our Model 3s.

Starting with the door handle wrap is an inexpensive start to customizing your Model 3. We will soon be launching a complete chrome delete kit.

So what makes our wrap different from others?

Here’s the truth, there are a lot of companies that provide door handle wraps. Unfortunately, many of what’s out in the market don’t provide a perfect fit and trim.

What we wanted to create was a full wrap that covered the entire handle. This will give a better more OEM look. Also, it’s much less annoying for people like us who a have little bit of OCD
